Description: Crucial Conversations is a two-day course that will teach you the tools you need to step up to life’s most difficult and important conversations, say what’s on your mind, and achieve the positive resolutions you want. You’ll learn how to:

  • Prepare for high-impact situations with a six-minute mastery technique
  • Make it safe to talk about almost anything
  • Be persuasive, not abrasive
  • Keep listening when others blow up or clam up
  • Turn crucial conversations into the action and results you want

Time: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day, with 1-hour break for lunch

**BIO: Tana Monroe is the Director of Security, Police, and Event Operations for the Department of Public Safety, specializing in threat assessment and complaince. She began her career at Boise State in June of 2010 as a security analyst. Tana received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Boise State University in 2003 and earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University in 2008.
