Hackers, cookies and phishing… Oh my! Protect yourself and Boise State from nefarious cyber attacks by keeping up to date on your cybersecurity training.
DHR has released part two of the cybersecurity training that they started last year. Employees should have received their individual links on February 25, 2019. Boise State employees are required to complete these by Friday, March 29, 2019. Those in compliance are eligible for a change in employee compensation (CEC) merit increase, should one be approved by the Legislature. Make sure employees who were assigned the 2018 training modules who have yet to complete it complete BOTH cybersecurity training modules assigned in 2018 and 2019 to be eligible for CEC merit increases. However, New employees who started after Feb. 11, 2019, will not be assigned the 2018 training but will need to complete the 2019 training assigned on Feb. 25, 2019.
For those with questions about the training or if you have completed the 2018 cybersecurity training please contact Mary Wong in HR, firstname.lastname@example.org. If you did not receive your individual link to the training this year please visit https://dhr.idaho.gov/Training/Cybersecurity.html.
