Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Civil Engineering
The Department of Civil Engineering at Boise State University seeks postdoctoral researchers to participate in projects involving large scale hydrologic modeling, streamflow forecasting, and prediction and integration of ground water - surface water exchange schemes in hydrological models. Experience or background in water resources modeling and evaluating global climate change scenarios is preferred. Proficiency in Fortran, C, C++ and Unix/Linux experience including familiarity with Unix shell scripts is essential and experience in handling large data sets - e.g., remote sensing, ArcGIS and gridded/in situ observations is highly desirable. Ph.D required in hydrology or closely related field. This is a one-year appointment initially with renewal for a second year contingent upon performance and availability of funds.
