Assistant Professor
Department of Sociology
The Department of Sociology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 2010. Applicants must be willing and able to teach demography, statistics and methods.
At a minimum you should have:
- An earned Ph.D. degree in sociology and demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, research and service.
The preferred candidate will have:
- Other areas of specialization are open, but preference will be given to those conducting research in one or more of the following: applied or community sociology, race and ethnicity, urban sociology or others areas that fit the department’s needs.
