Assistant or Associate Professor
Department of Accountancy
Boise State University’s Department of Accountancy invites interested applicants for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor to become a part of our team to continue our quest toward becoming a Metropolitan Research University of Distinction. This is a tenure-track managerial accounting faculty position for either a new Ph.D. or someone with experience at a previous institution of higher education whose interests are in teaching and conducting research in the managerial accounting area.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Provide high quality instruction at both the undergraduate and master’s level
- Conduct scholarly research leading to conference presentations and refereed publications
- Provide university and community service using your professional expertise.
At a minimum you should have:
- a Ph.D. in business with an accounting emphasis
The preferred candidate will have:
- a professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, CIA, or other)
