Position Summary

Consultation and technical assistance for Idaho Leads Project

  • Collaborates with Co-directors, associate directors, statewide coordinators, regional pacesetting mentors, and other project staff to implement professional development and technical assistance opportunities
  • Develops and revises policies & procedures
  • Develops internal procedures for managing statewide efforts.  Determines improvement needs and investigate processes needed.  Oversee travel and payment processing for centralized program components
  • Coordinates creation of marketing materials for program promotion and awareness
  • Assists local, regional, statewide participating districts with program procedures
  • Coordinates districts selected to participate and ensure that all requirements have been met to receive services
  • Coordinates, manages and facilitates complex events
  • Assists with consultation/technical assistance
  • Coordinates training sessions for participating districts

 Communications/Correspondence

  • Primary contact with other departments, outside agencies/organizations; provides detailed information regarding the program
  • Assists with researching complicated inquires/requests about program effectiveness; makes recommendations to  program staff regarding options available
  • Coordinates design and conduct of local, regional, and statewide meetings
  • Write, review and edit budget reports, project updates, contracts, and research as assigned Maintain databases, collect information and provide director(s) reports
  • Independently research, analyze, and compile information to prepare reports, handle complaints, or resolve problems that may arise; research, compile and organize materials for Co-Director’s and project staff’s use

Budgets/HR/Record Keeping

  • Maintain financial records & coordinate financial issues with Business Manager
  • Recommend the type of budget expenditures allowed and build budget reports for Co-Directors and project staff
  • Prepare budget and data compilation reports for Co-Directors and project staff
  • Develop/implement tracking systems to manage project, financial operations
  • Balance, coordinate, and set priorities for multiple projects with various deadlines and workloads
  • Reconcile accounts, troubleshoot problems and recommend resolutions, provide regular reports to Co-Directors
  • Facilitates and manages contracts with, and make payments to, consultants and other professionals, and vendors
  • Primary HR resource for Project
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA or equivalent professional experience
  • 5 years professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year managerial experience
  • Experience working in University/Education
