Position Summary

The Department of Civil Engineering at Boise State University seeks a postdoctoral researcher to participate in projects involving large scale hydrologic modeling, prediction and integration of ground water – surface water exchange schemes in hydrological models and impacts of climate change on water resources.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph.D required in hydrology or closely related field
  • Proficiency in Fortran, C, C++ and Unix/Linux experience including familiarity with Unix shell scripts is essential
  • Experience handling large data sets – e.g., remote sensing, ArcGIS and gridded/in situ observations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience or background in water resources modeling and evaluating global climate change scenarios is preferred.
