  • Select Vending Machines

Students, faculty, staff, and the general public may purchase Bronco Bucks with a valid ID card. To open your account, deposit money into it through Payments and Disbursements, Room 211 in the Administration building, or at the Info Desk in the Student Union. This can be done in person using check, cash, or credit card, or by calling 426-1212 or 426-4636 with a major credit card.

Immediately upon receipt of a deposit, you may present your Boise State ID card at any food service location on campus and your purchase will automatically be subtracted from your Bronco Bucks debit account. Contact the Campus I.D./BroncoCard office, 426-4171, for more information about this key to modern living on the Boise State campus.

Idaho Central members may use the Capital Educators ATM without a service charge. The Internet addresses are as follows: http://www.capedfcu.org/ and http://www.iccu.com/

Exercise Release Time Program

Many employees participate in a regular exercise program using campus facilities during the workday. As a result of this interest and the university's commitment to wellness and fitness, President Robert Kustra has authorized release time to exercise during working hours. With approval by your supervisor, employees in permanent positions may take up to 45 minutes per week to exercise. The Request for Release Time form is available on the HRS website and must be signed by you and your supervisor. If you have any questions, please contact Christina Berg, Health Promotion and Prevention Services Coordinator, Health and Wellness Center, x2752, cberg@boisestate.edu

Fee Waiver

All Boise State University employees in permanent positions and their spouses may register for instructional courses during any academic period. Boise State University waives all tuition costs except for a $20.00 non-refundable registration fee per semester and a $5.00 per credit hour charge. Any special course fees (lab fee) will be paid by the employee. Forms for the fee waiver are available online at the HRS website and in the HRS office.

Flexible Spending Account

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are a way to pay dependent day care expenses and medical expenses on a before tax basis. All employees may enroll if they are eligible for the State of Idaho medical plans and have completed 10 months of continuous state service as of the plan anniversary (July 1). The plan year is from July 1 to June 30. The FSAs work on a reimbursement basis. This is a year by year plan and the IRS states that the dollars deposited into the FSA must be used during that year. Information will be distributed to employees during the open enrollment period in May of every year. Reimbursement forms are available online at http://adm.idaho.gov/insurance/forms/Idaho_FSA_Claim_Form.pdf.
