Eligibility

All benefit eligible employees and their dependents, not enrolled in one of the State’s medical plans, are only eligible for the EAP benefits. Employees and dependents enrolled in the State’s medical plan are eligible for the EAP and Mental Health & Substance Abuse.


Summary of Benefits - EAP

Employees and their dependents are allowed 5 visits per plan year. Pre-authorization is required. Services are designed to help the employee cope with any mental health, chemical dependency, marital, family, legal or financial problems. To utilize the EAP, employees must contact Business Psychology Associates, 343-4180 or 1-877-427-2327.

Filing Claims

Filing claims is not necessary for covered service you receive from an in-network participating provider. You may have to submit a claim to Business Psychology Associates for out-of-network mental health and substance abuse services.
